The faint sound of sleigh bells and festive tunes can already be heard as we countdown to the musical spectacular of the year with the 2018 Playford Community Christmas Carols this December.
One of Australia’s leading ladies of the stage, Lucy Durack, is set to headline the outdoor concert known for her performances in Wicked, Wizard of Oz and Legally Blonde the Musical.
To add to the list of talented performers is Mark Anthony as he presents an exceptionally dynamic Elvis Presley tribute that exudes the raw energy and true essence of the King of Rock ‘n’ Roll.
Warming up the Fremont Park stage are some of Australia’s and Adelaide’s top local talent with the Australian Girls Choir and the Playford Carols Band. There will be plenty of entertainment for the kids with variety shows from Once Upon a Princess, as well as Eddie and Ellie the Elves. The Christmas spirit will continue late into the evening with a special visit from the big man in red and a firework display that will light up the skies. We can’t wait to see you there ready to sing and dance the night away on Saturday 1 December.
